DESCRIPTION:Session Overview:\n\nOSHA requires that employers on construction sites conduct safety inspections of jobsites and require that a Competent Person\, designated by the employer\, be responsible for the completion of the inspections. More specifically a Competent Person is required to complete inspections of scaffolds\, fall protection equipment\, and systems\, trenches\, confined spaces and more.\n\nThe intent of this session is to review the role of the Competent Person and to assist in identifying the hazards associated with many of the jobsite programs requiring inspections.\n\n\n\nAt the end of this session participants will understand the importance of inspections\, what to look for and how to meet OSHA's requirements.
